Chris Harwood - I have this in Grandma Jennie's handwriting with a note "these are good for Leia to eat". If you want a soft cookie roll them out thicker, for crisp, thin. Ingredients For grandma jennie's sugar cookies

  • 1 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 3 Tbsp
    cream or canned milk
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 3 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    maragarine
  • 1/2 tsp
    lemon extract
  • 1/2 tsp
    soda
  • 2
    eggs

How To Make grandma jennie's sugar cookies

    Cream margarine and sugar, add eggs and cream, add flavors.

    Mix in flour, salt and soda. Stir.

    Chill and roll. Cut in the shapes you like.

    Place on ungreased cookie sheet, sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 400 degrees for 6-9 minutes. They burn real easy, so watch carefully.
