Ingredients For grandma jennie's molasses cookies

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    molasses
  • 1 Tbsp
    vinegar
  • 1 tsp
    ginger
  • 1 Tbsp
    soda dissolved in 1/4 cup boiling water
  • 1 c
    margarine
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 4 1/2 c
    flour

How To Make grandma jennie's molasses cookies

    Blend together all ingredients well.

    Chill and roll.

    Cut into desired shapes. Sprinkle with sugar before baking.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

    Grandma's notes: I cut my cookies, put them on the cookie sheet and then sprinkle with sugar. Use a floured cookie sheet.
