I don't remember where I got this recipe but it's quick and easy. You can use a granola or a muesli cereal (My choice is muesli). It was difficult to get my children to eat healthier but they loved these cookies. You can add extra raisins, chopped dates, chopped figs and chopped nuts. I have even changed the amount of flour to 1/2 cup and added1/2 cup of pecan meal. This was a tricky way to get more fiber into my family's diet and they are so tasty and crunchy.

8Cool one minute before moving to rack.
-
9NOTE: If I add a significant amount of additional raisins, dates, nuts... I have had to add a bit of milk to keep the batter from getting too dry. Add very small amounts and stir before adding additional milk. You can also try using whole wheat flour instead of white.
