I found this recipe even when I wasn't searching for it. What started out as a mud cake recipe turns out to be an even better chocolate cookie recipe. Weird, strange and unusual, I know. However the proof is in the tasting as they say. Check out the photo/s too for further evidence. Really yum recipe so please come and check it out.

Ingredients For gooey chocoate cookie recipe

  • 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 2 c
    castor sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 3 Tbsp
    cocoa
  • 2
    eggs
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla essence
  • 1
    cranberry and pomegranate tea bag
  • 250 g
    butter
  • 200 g
    chocolate

How To Make gooey chocoate cookie recipe

    Heat your oven to 180 C or 350 F. Line your baking tray with grease proof or baking paper. Fill a glass with 4 tbs of hot tap water and put teabag in to brew.

    Using a heatproof bowl place the butter and chocolate inside and microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Stir with a metal spoon until completely melted. Now add the tea.

    Pour the flour, sugar, baking powder and cocoa into the same bowl and whisk on high until well mixed. Add the two eggs and vanilla and give whisk again.

    Using a dessert spoon, spoon the mixture onto your baking tray and bake for up to 15 minutes depending on your oven. Allow to cool in tray for 5 minutes before turning out onto wire rack to cool completely. Enjoy!
