Ingredients For good cookies
- COMBINE AND COOK 5 MINUTES. LET COOL.

1 craisins

1 cchopped dates

1 cwater
- CREAM TOGETHER

1 cshortening
-
2 cwhite sugar

3eggs
- THEN ADD RAISINS MIXTURE AND 4 CUPS OF FLOUR (IF SIFTED ROUND UP)
- THEN ADD THE FOLLOWING

1/2 tspsalt

1 tspvanilla

1 tspbaking soda
-
1 tspbaking powder

1 tspcinnamon
-
1 tspnutmeg

1 cchopped nuts
How To Make good cookies

1combine the raisins, chopped dates, and water. Cook 5 minutes. Then let cool.

2Cream together the shortening, white sugar, and eggs. Then add the raisin mixture (when cooled) and 4 cups of flour.

3The add the salt, vanilla, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and chopped nuts to the mixture. Mix until well blended.

4Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes or longer if you like them browner.
