glistening spice cookies
These spice cookies are a perfect way to get in to the Christmas or Holiday Spirit. The warmth of cooking with a blend of spices just seems to bring back memories of good times with friends and family. These are very much like little ginger breads. The addition of the coarse sugar adds a new dimension to the soft and slightly chewy cookie. I made several batches of different cookies for an Open Artist Studio Event at my home last week and these were by far the most popular. I do hope you include this recipe in your "Holiday Cookie Collection".
