Ingredients For gingerbread gypsies

1/2 cmargarine

1/2 cdark brown sugar, packed firmly

1/4 cdark molasses
-
2 call purpose flour
-
1 1/2 tspginger, ground

1 tspcinnamon, ground

1/2 tspnutmeg, ground

1/2 tspbaking soda
-
1/2 tspsalt

How To Make gingerbread gypsies

1In large bowl, beat margarine and sugar until light and creamy. Beat in molasses.; Combine flour, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda, and salt; Beat into creamed mixture until just combined. Form dough into ball. On floured surface, roll dough into 1/8 inch thickness. Cut out shapes.

2Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 degrees for 10 to 13 minutes or until lightly browned on bottom. Cool 1 minute on sheet, remove cookies to wire rack to cool completely. Frost or decorate if desired.
