2 call purpose flour

1 tspbaking powder

1 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspsalt

1 tspcinnamon

1/2 tspginger

3/4 cbutter, softened

3/4 csugar

1/4 cmolasses

extra sugar for dipping
How To Make ginger molasses cookies

1Whisk the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and ginger together; set aside.

2In a large bowl, cream the butter, sugar, egg and molasses together. Then gradually stir the dry ingredients into the butter mixture. Mix well.

3Roll into 1 inch balls, dip into sugar and place on parchment lined cookie sheets. Press once with a fork to slightly flatten. * Dip the fork into some flour to keep from sticking to the little balls.

4Bake in a preheated 350-degree oven, for 10 minutes. Don't over bake, remove from the oven while still soft.
