Ingredients For ginger cremes
- CREAM

1 cmolasses/sorghum

1 clard (no substitutions)

1 cbrown sugar
- ADD

1 cboiling water in which 4 teaspoons baking soda has been dissolved
- MIX ABOVE INGREDIENTS WELL, ADD

1 tspginger
-
1 tspallspice
-
1 tspcloves
-
4 3/4 cflour

1 tspcinnamon

1 tspsalt

1/2 tspnutmeg
How To Make ginger cremes

1Refrigerate overnight. Divide dough into 3 parts.

2Using lots of flour, roll out about 1/4 inch thick. Cut into desired shapes; sprinkle with sugar before baking.

3Bake at 350 degrees on a well greased cookie sheet for 15 minutes until slightly brown on edges but still soft by the fingertip test (touch lightly, if done it will spring right back).
