Ingredients For fruitcake bars

  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 2 c
    walnuts, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c
    fruitcake mix
  • 1
    egg, lighlty beaten

How To Make fruitcake bars

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line bottom and side of 8" square pan with parchment paper; lightly cover with cooking spray.

    Stir together flour, baking soda and baking powder. Add sugar nuts and fruit. Add egg, mixing until blended. Press batter into prepared pan.

    Bake for 35-40 minutes or until set.

    Cool in pan 20 minutes. Lift from pan and cool completely on wire rack. Cut into squares.
