Whip these frosted fudge brownies up when you're craving something sweet. They're made with simple ingredients most bakers have on hand and the directions are very easy. Once baked, the homemade brownies are rich and moist. Topped with the light, fluffy, and creamy fudgy frosting, these brownies are delicious If you want a thinner icing, add a little more milk to the recipe. But, we thought the thickness of the frosting was perfect.

Ingredients For frosted fudge brownies

1 c+ 3 Tbsp softened butter

3/4 cunsweetened cocoa powder

4 lgeggs

2 cgranulated sugar

1 1/2 call-purpose flour

1 tspbaking powder

1 tspsalt
-
1 tspvanilla extract
- FOR FROSTING

6 Tbspsoftened butter
-
2 2/3 cpowdered sugar
-
1/2 cunsweetened cocoa powder
-
1 tspvanilla extract
-
1/4 - 1/3 cmilk
How To Make frosted fudge brownies

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 13 x 9 pan with nonstick cooking spray. In a saucepan, melt the butter.

2Remove from heat and stir in the cocoa.

3Let it cool.

4In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar.

5In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt.

6Gradually add this mixture to the egg mixture.

7Stir in the vanilla and the cooled chocolate mixture.

8Mix well.

9Spread the mix into the prepared pan.

10Bake at 350 degrees for 25 - 28 minutes.

11For frosting, in a mixing bowl cream the softened butter, powdered sugar, cocoa, and vanilla extract.

12Add 1/4 cup of milk to start. If the frosting is too thick, add a little more to achieve spreading consistency.

13Spread over cooled brownies.
