Ingredients For frosted cashew cookies

1/2 cbutter, softened

1 cbrown sugar, packed

1egg
-
1/2 tspvanilla extract

3/4 tspbaking powder

1/4 tspsalt

3/4 tspbaking soda

1/3 csour cream
-
1 3/4 csalted cashews, divided

2 cflour
How To Make frosted cashew cookies

1Cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add dry ingredients, alternating with sour cream; mix well. Fold in nuts, reserving some for the top of frosting. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes on a greased baking sheet. Frost and top each cookie with a cashew. Yields: 4 doz.

2Frosting: 1/2 c. butter, 3 T. cream, 1/4 t. vanilla extract, 2 c. powdered sugar. Lightly brown the butter in a pan. Remove from heat and add cream and vanilla. Gradually stir in powdered sugar. Beat until thick. DECADENCE!
