My Grandson, Finley, visited recently and absolutely loved these cookies.They are soft and "yummy". He is 8 years old but he knows what he likes. At the moment it is Grandma's Sugar Cookies.

Ingredients For finley's favorite sugar cookies

1 c

granulated sugar
1 c

powdered sugar
1 c

oleo
1/2 c

vegetable oil
2

eggs
1 tsp

vanilla extract
4 c

flour
1 tsp

cream of tartar
1 tsp

salt
1 tsp

baking soda

How To Make finley's favorite sugar cookies

Cream sugar, oleo and oil.
Add eggs.

Mix dry ingredients in another bowl. Add to creamed mixture.

Mix well.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten slightly with bottom of drinking glass dipped in sugar. (put small amt of butter on bottom of glass)

Bake at 350 degree oven for 6-8 minutes.
Yields about 5 dozen cookies.
