Ingredients For english toffey cookies

Cream1 cup sugar with

1 cup butter, softened

add yolk of 1 egg (unbeaten)

1 tsp. vanilla

2 cups flour
How To Make english toffey cookies

1Mix well and spread dough thinly over about 3/4 of large cookie sheet. Spread over the dough, the white of 1 egg and press in 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans. Bake until golden brown, 40-45 minutes in 300 degree oven.
