This is a very tasty cookie and one that Elvis loved as well. Filled with bananas, peanut butter and oatmeal, and nuts... Thank you to Alvena Roy, Elvis's cook and longtime friend, for sharing his favorite recipes. Ingredients For elvis's peanut butter/banana oatmeal cookies

3/4 cbutter, softened

1/4 ccreamy peanut butter

1 1/2 cbrown sugar, lightly packed

2 lgeggs, well beaten
-
1 cmashed bananas, about 2 medium very ripe

2 tspbanana extract
-
3 1/2 call purpose flour
-
1/4 tspsalt
-
2 tspbaking powder
-
1 tspbaking soda
-
1 cold fashioned oatmeal

1 cchopped walnuts
How To Make elvis's peanut butter/banana oatmeal cookies

1Preheat oven to 350^. Lightly grease cookie sheets. In the large bowl of your mixer, cream the butter, peanut butter, and sugar' add eggs, bananas, and banana extract, mix well. Remove bowl from mixer.

2Combine flour, salt, baking powder and baking soda and add to mixer bowl, mix well with a heavy spoon . Add oatmeal blend in- add nuts mix until blended in.

3Drop by rounded Tablespoon into granulated sugar and roll into a ball. Place on cookie sheets. Press each cookie ball down with the ball of the spoon. Bake in 350^ oven for 15 minutes.(correct time)0 but check at 12 your oven may be different.
