Ingredients For eggnog sprinkle cookies

1 csalted butter, softened

1 cgranulated sugar

2 lgegg yolks

1/2 cstore bought eggnog, plain is best

2 1/2 call purpose flour

2 tspbaking powder
-
1 tspground nutmeg
- TOPPING:

1/3 ccolorful decorating sugar

1 tspground cinnamon
How To Make eggnog sprinkle cookies

1In a large mixing bowl, cream together butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Beat in egg yolks until combined. Add eggnog. Whisk together flour, baking powder and nutmeg; add to butter mixture beating until thoroughly combined. Refrigerate dough 2 hours or until firm.

2Combine topping ingredients on paper plate. Roll dough into small 1-inch balls then roll in the cinnamon,colorful sugar mixture. Place balls 2 inches apart on lightly buttered cookie sheet. Bake in a 400^ oven for 8-10 minutes or until set. Cool completely.

3Note: Any color cookie sugars may be used or a variety of different ones.
