Ingredients For easy shortbread cookies

  • 2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 c
    smart balance buttery spread
  • 1/2 c
    confectioners sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    double acting baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon

How To Make easy shortbread cookies

    Preheat Oven to 350*F.Into large bowl,measure all ingredients except sugar and cinnamon.

    With mixer at medium speed,beat ingredients until well mixed,occasionally scraping bowl with spatula.

    Pat dough in 9x9baking pan.In cup, mix sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over dough.

    Bake 30 to 35 minutes.Cut into bars while warm.
