I copied this down from a cookbook years ago. It had been published by a women in Virginia. If you like almond, these are a must!

Ingredients For dutch treats

1 cbutter, softened

6 ozcream cheese, softened

2 call purpose flour
- FILLING

3eggs
-
1 csugar
-
8 ozalmond paste

sliced almonds
How To Make dutch treats

1Using mixer, cream butter and cheese. Gradually add the flour. Cover and refrigerate one hour.

2Roll into one inch balls. Press dough into mini muffin pan cups. Greased.

3Beat eggs until light and fluffy. Add sugar and mix well.

4Cube the almond paste into small pieces and beat into mixture.

5Spoon a rounded teaspoon into each cup. Top each with three almonds.

6Bake at 325 for 25 minutes or until lightly golden. Cool for ten minutes before removing to cooling rack. Yields 10 dozens
