Another family recipe. Kind of fussy but you won't be disappointed.

Ingredients For double peanut butter cookies

  • 1 1/2 c
    sifted flour
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 c
    crisco
  • 1/2 c
    creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 c
    light corn syrup
  • 1 Tbsp
    milk

How To Make double peanut butter cookies

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

    Combine flour,sugar & soda.Cut in Crisco & peanut butter until mixture resembles coarse meal. Blend in syrup & milk. Shape into a roll 2" in diameter.Chill hrs. 2

    Slice 1/8"-1/4" thick. Place 1/2 of sliced dough on an ungreased cookie sheet.

    Spread with 1/2 teaspoon peanut butter. Cover with remaining slices.Seal edges with a fork.

    Bake 10-12 minutes. Watch closely.
