I was looking for an easy but different "holiday" cookie to take to a tailgate (in December) so I made this up as I went! They were a hit and everyone asked for the recipe! I hope you and yours enjoy these moist holiday cookies! Cheers!

2 cflour

3/4 cbaking cocoa

1 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspsalt

1 1/2 stickbutter, room temperature

4 ozcream cheese, room temperature

2eggs, room temperature

3/4 cdark brown sugar (or light)

1 csugar
-
1 tsppure vanilla extract

1/2 csemi-sweet mini chocloate chips

1 cpeppermint bark, chopped
How To Make double chocolate peppermint bark cookies

1Preheat oven to 350

2In a separate bowl, sift flour, cocoa, soda, and salt. Set aside

3Beat sugars, cream cheese and butter together. Add vanilla. Add one egg at a time and beat until fully incorporated before adding second. Gradually add dry ingredient mixture. Beat until fully incorporated. Stir in chocolate chips and peppermint bark

4Place spoonfuls of dough on foil lined cookie sheets and bake for 8-10 minutes. Let cool on cookie sheets for a minute then transfer to wire cooling racks. Enjoy!
