The usual peanut butter chocolate chip cookie just doesn't have enough peanut butter flavor for me. I have tweaked this recipe over the years and I think they are perfect this way and have been making them like this for the past 10 years. I hope u enjoy them as much as we do.

1/2 cbutter, softened

1/2 cbutter flavored crisco

1-3/4 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

3/4 cgranulated sugar

2 cpeanut butter, creamy

2 lgeggs
-
1/3 cmilk
-
1 Tbspvanilla extract

3-1/2 cunbleached white flour
-
1-1/4 tspbaking soda
-
1 tspsalt
-
1-1/2 cchopped pecans, walnuts or peanuts(optional)

3 csemi sweet chocolate chips
How To Make dee-licious peanutty butter cookies with chips

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare cookie sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.

2In large mixer bowl cream first 5 ingredients until fluffy, about 2 minutes. Beat in eggs, milk and vanilla.

3Sift dry ingredients together. Slowly incorporate into creamed mixture until well blended. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts if desired.

4Scoop onto cookie sheets 2" apart. Bake in 350 degree oven for 9-10 minutes or until light brown. Do not overbake to a med or dark brown or they won't be chewy. Let cool 10 minutes on cookie sheet. Finish cooling on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container. Enjoy!
