Ingredients For danish kringle cookies

4 call purpose flour

1 3/4 cbutter, softened

1 1/2 tspbaking powder

1 ccream
-
1 tsplemon extract

4 Tbspsugar for sprinkling (more or less)
How To Make danish kringle cookies

1Combine flour, butter and baking powder.

2Add the cream and lemon extract and mix well.

3Divide dough in half. Roll out each into rectangle to about a 1/4 inch thickness on floured surface.

4Cut dough into strips. (try a fluted cutter). Form each strip in a fiqure 8 shape. Sprinkle with sugar.

5Lift onto cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. WATCH carefully, they burn easily.
