danish butter cookies
(2 ratings)
Really easy and delicious traditional holiday recipe. If you can find them, alternate between red and green cherries for Christmastime!
Blue Ribbon Recipe
Rich, buttery and chewy, these cookies are similar to a sugar cookie but without all the fuss. They remind us of a Christmas cookie but will be good any time of year. The cherries add a special touch, but the cookie is delicious without them too. This dough is very thick, so don't give up mixing it. We ended up finishing it by hand and it came out perfect. These are very yummy!
