Ingredients For crescent cookie

  • 1 lb
    sweet butter
  • 1/2 lb
    ground almonds
  • 1 stick
    vanilla bean
  • 2 c
    very fine sugar
  • 4 c
    sifted flour

How To Make crescent cookie

  • 1
    Cream butter,one cup of sugar ,ground almonds mix well. fold in flour gradually.mix well
  • 2
    roll dough by spoonful in palm of hand,long and chunky shape place on lightly greased cookie turn ends into crescent shape bake at 350 for 15 to 20 mins

    take 1 cup of sugar and vanilla bean and mix together roll cookie in mixture
  • 4
    Note: make the sugar and vanilla bean mixture the day before ,keep in tightly closed jar. there well be alot left over for future baking .it will keep from year to the next.those cookies improve with age should be baked several days before serving
