A delicious soft cookie for any time of year. It's one of my families favorites at holiday time but can be made whenever you crave a soft cookie.

8 ozcream cheese, softened

1 csugar

1/4 tspsalt

1 tspvanilla

1extra large egg

2 Tbspwhole milk

1/2 cchopped walnuts
How To Make cream cheese cookies by rose

1Beat butter, cream cheese, sugar, salt and vanilla until fluffy. Add egg and milk; mix well. Gradually add flour, stir in walnuts. Drop by teaspoonful onto a lightly greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Bake 325, 20 minutes. Remove to wire rack to cool.

2This cookie doesn't need icing or powdered sugar but if you wish you can dip one end in chocolate or do a drizzle icing. My family loves them just the way they are. They also freeze well.
