Ingredients For cream cheese cookies

1/2shortening, butter flavor

3 ozcream cheese, softened

1 Tbspmilk

1 csugar

1/2 tspvanilla extract

1 cflour

1/2 cchopped pecans
How To Make cream cheese cookies

1Heat oven to 375. Cream shortening, cream cheese and milk in medium bowl at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended.

2Beat in sugar and vanilla.

3Mix in flour.

4Stir in nuts.

5Drop level measuring tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.

6Bake at 375 for 10 minutes.

7Remove to cooling rack.

8Lemon or Orange Variation: Add 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon or orange peel to dough.
