These cookies are buttery, crispy, chewy and melt in your mouth! This cookie is one of my family's favorites. Even people who are not crazy about oatmeal cookies (who could that be anyway?!) will love these. Be prepared to hand out the recipe! They smell so good while baking and taste even better. :-)

1 1/4 cbutter (softened)

2 tspvanilla

3/4 cdark brown sugar (firmly packed)

1/2 csugar

1 lgegg

1 1/2 cflour

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspsalt

1 tspcinnamon

1/4 tspcloves (ground)

1/4 tspallspice (ground)

1/8 tspnutmeg

3 coatmeal (uncooked, old fashioned)

1/2 ccranberries, dried

1/2 craisins (optional
-
1 cwalnuts, coarsely chopped (optional)
How To Make cranberry raisin oatmeal spice cookies

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Beat together butter, vanilla, brown sugar and sugar. Add egg and mix.

2Combine dry ingredients and add to wet mixture. Add cranberries, raisins and walnuts (if desired). Mix well throughout dough.

3Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden brown.
