How To Make cran-nut oatmeal cookies

  • 1
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • 2
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla.
  • 3
In a medium-size bowl, combine flour, oats, soda, salt and cinnamon. Slowly add the flour mixture to the creamed butter, mixing until flour is well incorporated.
  • 4
Fold in cranberries and nuts. TIP: popping bowl into refrigerator for 1/2 hour or so will prevent the cookies from spreading too much!
  • 5
With a medium cookie scoop, drop dough onto prepared baking sheets about 1 1/2 to 2 inches apart. Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden. Let cool 5 minutes on baking sheet before transferring cookies to a cooling rack.
