1 cshortening

1 cgranulated sugar

1 clight brown sugar

1 tspvanilla extract

2eggs

1 1/2 csifted flour

1 tspsoda

3 crolled oats
-
1/2 lbsalted spanish peanuts
How To Make colonial peanut butter oatmeal cookies

1Cream shortening and add sugar gradually.

2Add vanilla and eggs and beat well.

3Sift flour and soda; add to mixture.

4Add rolled oats and peanuts; mix well.

5Shape dough into small balls and place on lightly greased cookie sheet.

6Bake for 7 minutes at 425.
