coconut chocolate chip cookies
This little cookie is sweet, chewy, and pretty to look at. Also super easy to make. I found this recipe on line and adjusted it to my family's taste. Didn't need much adjustment. I take these cookies to all the holiday parties and my plate is the first to be empty.

14 ozcoconut, unsweetened

14 ozsweetened condensed milk

2 csemi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 csalted caramel chips

3/4 csalted slivered almonds
How To Make coconut chocolate chip cookies

1Pre heat oven 325. Add all ingredients together in a large bowl. Mix until all the ingredients are completely mixed. ( I find using the cutting in method works best)

2Use a melon scoop and place on cookie sheets lined with parchment paper. About 1/2 inch a part (The cookie won't spread.) form into a flat disk, using scoop to flatten the mixture as you go.

3Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, and the coconut begins to turn golden brown. Let cool on cookie tray about 5 minutes. Store in air tight containers .
