Amount of flour is the key in this recipe.Too little makes them flat and too much makes them a biscuit texture

Ingredients For cloud cookies

  • 4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 3 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    butter,2 sticks,softened
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 c
    milk or buttermilk

How To Make cloud cookies

  • 1
    Sift together flour,baking soda,baking powder and salt.

    Cream together butter and sugar
  • 3
    To the butter mixture Add eggs one at a time beating well each time and add vanilla and mix well
  • 4
    Add flour mixture alternately with milk to butter mixture and mix all ingredients well.

    Stop by spoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet.Bake 350 degrees for 9-10 minutes.When the tops are just firm enough not to indent the cookies are done
