My family favorite Cinnamon Rolls with Cream Cheese Icing.

Ingredients For cinnamon rolls

3 pkgactive dry yeast
-
1 1/2 cwarm milk
-
1/2 csugar
-
1/2 cbutter, melted
-
2 tspsalt

2eggs
-
4 call purpose flour + a little for handling
- FILLING

1 1/2 cbrown sugar

5 Tbspcinnamon
-
1/2 cbutter, softened
- ICING
-
1/2 cbutter, softened
-
1 1/2 cconfectioners' sugar
-
1/4 ccream cheese
-
1/2 Tbspvanilla
-
1/8 tspsalt
How To Make cinnamon rolls

1Dissolve sugar and yeast in warm sugar. Let the yeast bubble in the milk.

2Mix butter, salt, eggs and flour into yeast mixture.Gently mix until well combined. Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead into a large ball.

3Place into a large buttered glass ball, cover and allow to rise for two hours. After two hours punch down dough ,cover and rise for another hour.

4Place dough on large lightly floured surface and roll to a 1/4 inch thickness. Spread dough with softened butter for filling.

5Mix together brown sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle all over buttered dough. Roll dough beginning at the long edge util a long of dough has been formed.

6Using about 1 foot long thread, place under one end of the dough and pull thread together to cut 3/4 - 1 inch slices.

7Place into lightly buttered sheet pan.Preheat oven to 400 F. Allow rolls rise for 30 minutes on sheet pan.

8Place rolls into oven and allow to cook until lightly browned and not doughy. Bake about 15 - 20 minutes. Do not over bake.

9remove from the oven and allow to cool for about 5 minutes. Mix all icing ingredients until creamy with an electric mixer.

10Spread rolls with icing.
