Ingredients For cinnamon flats

1 3/4 call purpose flour

1/2 csugar

1 1/2 tspground cinnamon

1/4 tspeach of salt and ground nutmeg

1/2 cbutter equals 1 stick of butter

3egg whites, divided

1 tspvanilla extract
-
1 tspwater
- SUGAR GLAZE

1 1/2 cpowder sugar

2 Tbspmilk
-
1 tspvanilla extract
How To Make cinnamon flats

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg in medium bowl. Cut in butter until mixture forms coarse crumbs. Beat in 2 or the egg whites and vanilla mix with hands to form soft dough.

2Divide dough into 6 equal pieces place on greashed 15by10 jelly roll pan. Press dough evenly to edges of pan using hands,

3smooth top of dough. Mix remaining egg white and water in small cup. brush over dough. Lightly score dough into 2x2 inch square.

4Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until lightly browned and firm when lightly touched. While still warm, cut where you scored earlier. let cool a little and drizzle with sugar glaze. Let stand 15 minutes more before removing from pan.

5FOR GLAZE: combine all ingredents from above for glaze and if too thick add more milk.
