My love of chocolate and Oatmeal Raisin cookies was my inspiration for this cookie recipe. I played with a couple recipes and this is what I came up with.

Ingredients For chunky chocolate oatmeal raisin cookies

1 1/2 csugar

1 cbutter, softened

1 lgegg
-
1 tsppure vanilla extract

1 1/4 call purpose flour
-
1/3 cpowdered cocoa

1/2 tspbaking soda
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
3 cquick cooking oats
-
1/2 csemi-sweet chocolate chips
-
1/2 craisins
How To Make chunky chocolate oatmeal raisin cookies

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees; prepare a baking stone by lightly spraying with cooking spray

2Cream butter and sugar in medium mixing bowl

3Beat in egg and vanilla

4Add in all dry ingredients and fold in until incorporated; then add chocolate chips and raisins

5Cookie dough will be very stiff

6Drop dough by teaspoon full onto your prepared baking stone

7Bake 12 to 15 minutes (I had to bake for 15 to 17 minutes because I'm having trouble with my oven regulating properly so you may have to adjust your baking time back to 10 to 12 minutes)

8Remove Cookies from oven and let rest about 5 minutes on the stone then move to a rack and cool completely

9Delicious warm with a glass of milk or a cup of coffee :0)
