Ingredients For chocolate scotcheroos

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    light corn syrup
  • 1 c
    creamy peanut butter
  • 6 c
    rice krispies
  • 1 c
    chocolate chips
  • 1 c
    butterscotch chips

How To Make chocolate scotcheroos

  • 1
    Heat sugar and corn syrup in a 2 quart saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar has dissolved; remove. from heat; stir in peanut butter.

    Pour peanut butter mixture over cereal and mix. Press cereal mixture into a greased 9 X 13 inch pan.

    Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips in the top of a heated double boiler. Pour melted mixture over cereal mixture and spread evenly. Allow to cool completely in refrigerator before cutting (about 2 hours)
