These bars are perfect for fall and the upcoming holidays. Pecan pie is already super yummy, but to add the chocolate in- perfection! Pre-sliced bars are also great to take to get togethers.

Ingredients For chocolate pecan pie bars

for crust

1 1/2 cflour

1 stickbutter
-
1/4 cbrown sugar
- FILLING

3eggs

3/4 ccorn syrup

3/4 csugar

2 Tbspmelted butter

1 tspvanilla

11 1/2 ozpkg semi-sweet chocolate chunks

1 1/2 cpecans, coarsely chopped (or just use the pecan pieces that are already chopped)
How To Make chocolate pecan pie bars

1Preheat oven to 350. Grease a 13 x 9 pan. For the crust: beat the flour, butter, and brown sugar in a small mixing bowl until crumbly. Press into the pan and bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned.

2For the filling: beat the eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter, and vanilla with a wire whisk. Stir in the chocolate chunks and pecan pieces. Pour over the baked crust. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until set. Cut into bars when cool.
