Ingredients For chocolate pecan bars

    flour
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1.25 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 oz
    semisweet chocolate square
  • 1/4 c
    butter, room temperature
  • TOPPING INGREDIENTS
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1/2 c
    butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • confectioners' sugar

How To Make chocolate pecan bars

    Press mix into a buttered 13x9\" pan.

    Bake at 350 degree for 10 minutes until golden.

    Meanwhile, in small saucepan, combine butter and chocolate.

    Stir over low heat until the chocolate is melted.

    Remove from heat.

    Add the eggs, brown sugar and vanilla.
