Ingredients For chocolate nut toffee bars

1 cbutter, softened

1 cpowdered sugar

1 1/4 call purpose flour

1/3 ccocoa, unsweetened

1 cansweetened condensed milk

2 tspvanilla extract
-
1 pkgsemi-sweet chocolate chips

1 cchopped walnuts
How To Make chocolate nut toffee bars

1Reserve 2 tablespoons butter.

2Beat remaining butter and sugar until fluffy.

3Add flour and cocoa: mix well.

4Press into a greased 13 x 9 in. pan.

5Bake 15 minutes in a 350' oven.

6In saucepan combine reserved butter and concensed milk.

7Cook and stir 15 minutes on med. heat.

8Remove from heat and stir in vanilla.

9Pour over crust.

10Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.

11Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Cover with cookie sheet for 5 minutes

12Spread chocolate and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Gently pat down.

13Cool and cut into diamonds.
