This recipe began as White Chip Chocolate Cookies. I was out of white chips one day and subsituted Green Mint Chips and it was a success in house so it has stayed ever since. They taste just like girl scout cookies

Ingredients For chocolate mint cookies

2 1/4 call purpose flour

3/4 csugar

2/3 cbaking cocoa

2/3 cbrown sugar, firmly packed

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspvanilla extract

1/4 tspsalt

2eggs
-
2 stickbutter
-
2 cguittard green mint chips
How To Make chocolate mint cookies

1Combine: Flour, cocoa,baking soda, and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar,brown sugar, and vanilla in large mixing bowl until creamy. Beat in eggs. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in mint chips.

2Drop by well-rounded teaspoonsuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 9-11 minutes.

3Let stand 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
