These are my favorite cookies. I've seen them chocolate snowballs, chocolate crinkles and chocolate snowflake cookies. Whichever name you call them these are delicious cookies.

Ingredients For chocolate macaroons
- COMBINE:

1/2 cbutter, melted

4 oz(1 box) baker's unsweetened baking chocolate, melted

2 csugar
- BEAT IN:

4eggs, one at a time

2 tspvanilla
- SIFT AND ADD:

2 tspbaking powder

2 cflour
How To Make chocolate macaroons

1Combine ingredients as listed above. Chill dough at least 4 hours or over night.

2Roll into small balls or use a melon scoop to measure dough. Roll balls in sifted powdered sugar.

3Place balls one inch apart on greased cookie sheet and bake in preheated oven at 375 for 10 - 12 minutes. Remove from cookie sheets and place on wire racks to cool. Cool completely before storing

4I like to use 1 tsp vanilla and 1 tsp almond extract. you can also use 1 tsp vanilla and 1 tsp peppermint extract instead of 2 tsp vanilla.
