My mom makes this a lot its very good. She made it diffrently for me w/ the crust one time w/ gluten free espresso chocolate chunk cookies (idk what the brand was but it was good) instead due to me being allergic to nuts and it turned out pretty good. but I still like the original version...

Ingredients For chocolate layered desert

  • 1 1/2 c
    flour
  • 3/4 c
    margerine
  • 1 c
    walnuts, finely chopped
  • 8 oz
    cool whip, divided
  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 box
    regular sized instant chocolate puddings
  • 3 1/2 c
    milk

How To Make chocolate layered desert

  • 1
    Mix together flour, margarine and nuts. Press in a 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 for 10 min.

    Beat together the powdered sugar, cream cheese and vanilla. fold in 1 cup cool whip. spread over COOLED crust mixture.

    Mix pudding mix with milk and beat. Spread over first layer and finish topping with remaining cool whip. Top with additional chopped nuts and chill.
