Ingredients For chocolate lassies

  • 3/4 c
    butter, softened
  • 3/4 c
    granulated sugar
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    molasses
  • 2-1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 6 oz
    package of semi sweet chocolate chips

How To Make chocolate lassies

  • 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.In a medium mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in Molasses.

    In another bowl, combine flour,soda,salt,cinnamon, and ginger. Add to the creamed mixture and stir until flour disappears. Stir in Chips.

    Drop teaspoonfuls onto parchment lined baking sheet and bake 8-10 minutes. Please watch so they do not overbake. Remove from oven and cool on rack. Enjoy!
