Watch these cookies disappear! A cookie batter that is much like a cake dough but bakes up light and airy. They will keep everyone coming back for more. Great frosted too.

Ingredients For chocolate drop cookies

  • 2 c
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1 c
    vegetable shortening
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1 c
    baking cocoa
  • 3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 4 tsp
    vanilla
  • 4 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 box
    small instant chocolate pudding
  • 1 c
    sour milk, (1 tbsp vinegar to milk)

How To Make chocolate drop cookies

  • 1
    Cream brown sugar, shortening and eggs.

    Add flour, baking soda, salt, vanilla, baking powder along with soured milk. Blend well.

    Add instant pudding and cocoa, making sure to blend well.

    Drop dough by scoopful or teaspoons full on cookie sheet. (Spray pan if not using non-stick). Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Cool 2-3 minutes before removing from pan.

    Great plain or frost if desired.
