1 cbrown sugar

1/2 cmelted shortening

1/2 csour milk

1/2 tspsoda

1/2 tsppowder

1 1/2 cflour

2squares melted chocolate
- FROSTING:

1 cpowdered sugar

2 Tbspwarm milk

1square melted chocolate

1 tspvanilla
How To Make chocolate drop cookies, margaret kinney

1Combine together dough ingredients and drop by spoon onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 min. Frost when cool.

2NOTE: Sour milk is a combination of vinegar and milk (1 1/2 t vinegar or lemon juice in 1/2 cup measure first, then fill rest of measure with milk). Baking chocolate squares are what the chocolate part of the recipe ingredients means (find in the baking aisle in a box).
