2/3 cbutter flavor shortening

3/4 csugar

1egg

1 Tbspmilk

1 tspvanilla extract

1 tspbaking powder

1/2 tspsalt

1/2 tspbaking soda

48manchino cherries
- DIPPING CHOCOLATE

1 cmelted chocolate
-
2 Tbspbutter flavor shortening

finely chopped pecans
How To Make chocolate cover cherries

1Heat oer to 350 degrees

2Cream butter flaor crisco, sugar, egg, milk and vanilla in large bowl on medium speed until well blended.

3Combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. Beat into creamed mixture at low speed.

4P{ress dough in very thin layer around well drained cherries. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.

5Bake at 350 for 10 minuites. Cool on baking sheet one minute. Move to cooling rack and cool completly.

6For Chocolate Dipping, melt chocolate and butter flavor crisco in glass measuring cup. Drop one cookie at a time in the chocolate. Use fork to turn the cookies covering completly. Use fork to left cookies allow excess to drip off.

7Place on was paper lined baking sheet. Sprinkle with pecan.
