chocolate chip cookie cheesecake bars
(3 ratings)
Here's a new one that sounded so good, I had to try it! This originally came from the Mr. Food website, using premade tubes of chocolate chip cookie dough. Well, if you know me, you know I made that dough from scratch!!! Otherwise, it's unchanged from what was posted on Mr. Food.

How To Make chocolate chip cookie cheesecake bars
-
1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9x13 pan with foil and coat with non-stick spray.
-
2If making dough from scratch, combine butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla. Add baking soda and flour, combining well. Stir in chips and nuts. For easiler handling, refridgerate for about 20 minutes. Otherwise, go ahead and use the dough right after its made, like I did, and just know it'll be a little messier!
-
3Take 1/2 of chilled cookie dough (or 1 tube if you use premade) and press into bottom of the prepared pan to create bottom crust.
-
4Combine ingredients for filling. It will be thin. Pour over bottom crust.
-
5Take remaining dough and press into manageable rounds and place gently on top of the the filling. There will be some areas where the filling remains exposed.
-
6Bake for 45-50 minutes until slight browned and center is slightly firmed. Remove from oven and set on rack to cool completely. Refrigerate until thoroughly chilled.
-
7Remove bars from pan by lifting entire cheesecake out by foil edges.
-
8Peel foil down and cut into bars.
-
9Serve with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, or just eat it as it is! Enjoy!!!
