Ingredients For chocolate chip angel cookies

2 csifted all-purpose flour

1 tspbaking soda

1 tspcream of tartar

1/4 tspsalt

1/2 cbutter, softened

1/2 cvegetable shortening
-
1/2 cbrown sugar, lightly packed

1/2 cgranulated sugar

1egg
-
1 tspvanilla
-
3/4 cwalnuts
-
6 ozpackage semisweet chocolate chips

granulated sugar (for rolling)
How To Make chocolate chip angel cookies

1Preheat oven to 350* and lightly grease cookie sheets.

2Combine flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt in small bowl.

3Beat butter, shortening, and sugars in large bowl until blended. Add egg; beat well; add vanilla. Add flour mixture; blend well.

4Stir in walnuts and chocolate pieces. Roll dough into walnut-size balls; roll in granulated sugar. Place about 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets.

5Bake in preheated 350* oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until firm to touch. Cool on wire racks.
