Ingredients For chocolate cappuccino cookies

  • 1 Tbsp
    instant coffee granules
  • 1 Tbsp
    hot water
  • 1
    egg white
  • 3/4 c
    plus 1 tablespoon sugar divided
  • 1/4 c
    canola oil
  • 2 Tbsp
    corn syrup, dark
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 c
    baking cocoa
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt

How To Make chocolate cappuccino cookies

    In a small bowl, dissolve coffee granules in hot water.

    In a large mixing bowl, combine the egg white, 3/4 cup sugar, oil, corn syrup, vanilla and coffee beat until well blended.

    Combine the flour, cocoa,and salt, gradually add to coffee mixture.

    Roll into 2 inch balls. Place inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.

    Flatten to 1/4 in. thickness with a glass dipped in the remaining sugar.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 5 to 7 minutes or until center is set.

    Remove to wire rack to cool. Store in a airtight container. Makes 3 -1/2 dozen
