Ingredients For chinese chews

  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans
  • 8-oz. pkg pitted dates, cut in small pieces
  • powdered sugar

How To Make chinese chews

  • 1
    Cream together egg and sugar. Add remaining ingredients and mix well Spread in greased 8-inch square pan. Bake in preheated 350 degrees oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown. While still very warm remove spoonfuls from pan. Roll in 1-inch balls. Then roll in powdered sugar. Store covered container in refrig. Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
