Great flavor, nice crunch, terrific chew! We sure hope we get "wink"ed at often...

Ingredients For cherry winks

  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    butter
  • 2
    eggs, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp
    milk
  • 2 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 c
    chopped dates
  • 1 c
    chopped pecans
  • 1/2 c
    chopped maraschino cherries
  • 2 1/2 c
    cornflakes, crushed

How To Make cherry winks

  • 1
    Shape cookie dough into one inch balls and roll in crushed cornflakes. Place on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
